Girl and Dog in the City

 One of Those Days
Back to Full Blog

I still have my mom's account for MSN on my Adium messenger.

I keep expecting her to pop online.

....

It would be easier if AIM or MSN Messenger worked across some spiritual divide.

Adium? Isn't that a Mac only program? This is great. The girl of my dreams is a Mac user. That means we can spend endless nights together and never have to wait for rhe 'puter'. Being a PC guy, I love it. I hate when I want to do something and can't because someone is using my laptop. With you I won't have that problem. This is a match made in cyber heaven. I just wonder how my g/f is going to feel about it...

I use Macs and PCs. After all, have you ever heard of a Mac gamer? Then again with the new processors they have...Sigh. I want one - but the Mac machine I want is 2000 dollars refurbished.

How have you been feeling lately?

I've been good. I can't walk very far yet. Going from my bedroom to the foot of the driveway is enough to make me need a rest, but I'm doing it. I'm healing pretty well and should make a great recovery. Thanks for asking. Check out today's Brain Fart. I should be hung for this one!

Be careful what you wish for....a few years after my cousin Debbie died, her sister was online when suddenly Debbie's AIM nick popped on....turns out that someone had either hijacked the nick or it expired and was up for grabs again....

When a friend passed away a few years ago his wife left his message on their answering machine.

I found it very painful to call and hear his very happy welcome.

So sorry Miss NightBug. My wife has some of those days too since her mother passed away. I have yet to loose a parent or someone close to me other than my mother in law.

There will be better days I am sure.

AW! Matthew still has his dad on his cell phone. I think we just can't let them go, that is okay, isn't it?
