This is my last week working full-time. Next week I begin working 25 hours a week only instead of 40+. Of course, I looked forward to this week - being over, mainly. Especially now.
Why is it that when you are on that last stretch it seems to give you a stitch in your side five seconds into it?
Monday: I scan and scan incessantly. More work than previously. I'm still fielding asinine and ridiculous tech support calls.
Tuesday:Two members of our already short-staffed team call out. Not just for the day - but the
week. On top of that, the second person who is supposed to help me scan doesn't.
Wednesday:Oh, sweet reprieve at work. I only had to field phone calls instead of scan. Nothing too bad went wrong.
Thursday:More scanning than ever before! My wrists are complaining from the repetitive motions that lasted four hours straight. But, I got it all done.

Until tomorrow.
Friday...well...Friday has another person off work for the day and another associate on a half-day. This is on top of the fact that we are already two people short. That leaves...oh...me and one person for most of my "day" shift and then only me (as per usual) at night.
It will, indeed, be a long night.
On the bright side...um...

...on the bright side...

...
Aha!On the bright side, I got a glorious free fortune cookie that informed me that doors were going to open for me in life. All hail the mighty fortune cookie!
